sometimes i feel as if i was born in another time
and thrown into this century

I speak slightly different than others
And find no interest in the feeble things so many do
I dream in black in white
And haven't given up on soaring through the world
I live side by side with pain
And we've become acquaintances
A frown is more natural than a smile
It's simply the way I was made to be
Now tell me, is that really so bad?
